To install TWRP, read this article.
1. Backup Android ROM with TWRP
Backup ROM Steps:
1. Enter TWRP;
2. After logging in, select Backup;
3.Next, select the partitions you want to backup;
Notes :
- Normal backups are only enough for system, data and boot, so that the backups are not too large;
- If you want to repair the system, you can back up only the system disk and the kernel, only the boot partition. But my advice, you should just copy all the existing sections;
- If supported by TWRP and enough internal memory, backup EFS partition (IMEI backup, MAC address), Persistence (Sensor), Modem (Signal), Firmware and other desired partitions.
- The data stored in data (without storage space) are only the applications installed on the mobile phone, not photos, videos, music or similar data.
4. Ok, continue... Check system, data (except storage) and boot;
5. Then wipe wipe to backup.
Additional option
1. There is an option Select Storage to select the storage used as backup. There is also an option to save directly to a flash drive via USB OTG.
2. After clicking OK;
3. Under Settings > Option, select Enable compression to compress backups so they can be reduced in size.
4. If you want the backup results to be locked, enter the password in the Enter password field on the Encryption tab and ask for the password when it is reset for security reasons. (This is only optional, it can be done or not).
5. Then scroll right Swipe to Backup.
6. Please wait a while for the backup to complete.
Once done, the /TWRP/BACKUPS folder will be backed up.
Save the folder on PC/Laptop or USB stick.
Up to this stage, the backup process using TWRP is complete.
