How To fix Bootloop / Softbrick / Unbrick Xiaomi [All Types]
When I Did The Flashing Test And Changed The ROM, My Worry Was A Little Less Because It Was Easy Way To fix Xiaomi Bootloop , it is flash ROM with memory and flash with MiFlash tools.
What is a bootloop?
Bootloop is a state where the Android system cannot boot or boot, so it cannot access the main menu or home screen.
Smartphone devices have 3 types of boot loop, namely:
- Light boot loop » when it is turned on, the mobile phone can access the main menu, but it freezes and restarts;
- Intermediate boot loop » when enabled, the mobile can only freeze until it reaches the MI logo, but can still go to the recovery / CWM / TWRP menu;
- Hard boot loop » when powered on, the mobile can only stay until it reaches the MI logo, but cannot access the recovery/CWM/TWRP menu.
This article covered all Xiaomi bootloops with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, such as:
- Mi 4C and Mi 4I;
- Redmi 4 series (Redmi4X/4A/Prime);
- Redmi Note 3;
- Redmi 5 series;
- Redmi Note 5 series;
- Mi Note series;
- Redmi 3/Pro;
- Mi5 series (MI 5/5S/5S Plus/Mi 5X);
- MI 6.
.. on moderate and hard levels as long as your device can still use fastboot mode even if the bootloader is locked.
If you experience the same, follow the guide below to bypass the boot loop on any Xiaomi.
Overcoming Bootloop / Softbrick / Unbrick Xiaomi
Bootloop Conditions :
- Xiaomi SoC with Snapdragon in bootloader and bootloader still locked but still able to enter fastboot mode;
- This method also applies to Xiaomi users who have unlocked the bootloader.
Requirements:
- If the mobile phone can still be charged, make sure the battery is full or at least 50% charged;
- Original or good quality USB cable;
- PC / Laptop with Windows 7 or higher operating system and disables driver signing.
Required materials:
- MiFlashTools version 20170425 (This MiFlash includes Windows 32/64-bit drivers, so you no longer need to install other drivers.)
- Xiaomi Fastboot ROM; (Find the Fastboot ROM according to your Xiaomi type. Rename the .tgz/tar ROM file to .zip and open it and put it in C:\ drive or folder without spaces);
- Driver Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader (EDL: Emergency Download Mode) (Windows 32bit or Windows 64 bit)
- Install 15 Seconds ADB Installer, works as a driver and automatically goes into fastboot mode.
- Install Xiaomi Android USB driver useful as ADB interface and bootloader interface drivers;
steps:
1. Install MiFlashTools;
2. Extract and Install QDLoader HS-USB Driver,
2. Extract and Install QDLoader HS-USB Driver,
3. Click Next until the process is complete.
When the installation is complete, launch MiFlashTools.
1. Open the C:\XiaoMi\XiaoMiFlash folder and right-click the XiaoMiFlash.exe file and click Run as administrator.
2. The application looks like this:
3. Next, connect Xiaomi to PC / laptop;
4. Turn off Mobile Phone and enter fastboot mode by pressing the Power Vol + Down button simultaneously for a few seconds until the fastboot logo appears as shown:
5. Next, open the c:\adb folder. , then right-click the empty partition + SHIFT button, select Open command window here..
6. Make sure Xiaomi is connected by entering the command:
- fastboot devices
7. If the numbers and are several letters (serial number), which means that the connection was successful;
8. Then type the command:
- fastboot oem edl
9. After a while, the Xiaomi screen turns off, usually with a red flashing notification. Don't worry, Xiaomi is in EDL mode.
Before proceeding, make sure the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader driver is installed in the Device Manager port (COM and LPT) unchecked.
If there is a hit mark, it means the HS-USB QDLoader driver is not installed correctly or the driver signature must be disabled, please read the method here.
If the HS-USB QDLoader driver is installed correctly, please continue.
1. Back to MiFlash Tools, click Refresh;
2. Xiaomi is detected as COMx (depending on the computer / laptop, it can be COM5, COM10, etc.);
3. Next, click the Select button and navigate to the folder where you put the flashboot ROM extract.
5. If so, recite Bismillah and then click Flash;
6. Wait until the process is finished and the status is marked "flash done" as shown below:
7. If yes, Xiaomi will reboot automatically. If not, disconnect the USB cable and try to turn on the mobile device by pressing the button for a moment.
8. Done.
The first boot takes longer than usual, this is normal.
Tadaa...! Now Xiaomi should work normally again, please reset setting up
If it still turns on after flashing the mobile phone , then this option » Flashing succeeds But the mobile phone still turns on? alert :Weak/damage eMMC.

Troubleshooting!
Failed to enter EDL mode
There was a bug where the "fastboot oem edl" command would not work in certain cases. The reason may be that the command is not recognized or sometimes Xiaomi fails to enter EDL mode.
If this happens, do the following:
1. Download and extract the file fastboot_edl.7z;
2. Place (replace) extracted files in c:\adb;
3. Run (double click) edl.cmd file as follows:
4. Mobile Phone enters EDL mode when smartphone screen is dead.

- Note :
- For Redmi4X and Xiaomi released in 2017 and later, you cannot enter EDL mode before unlocking the bootloader. So the step that needs to be done is the test point
